Friday was a busy day in Taos. After dropping Mr. Tabby and C off at the Rio Grande Gorge for some white water rafting, Grandma Tabby and I set off to explore Taos.

Our first stop was the New Mexico Furniture Company where we saw some beautiful horse paintings by John Farnsworth. Grandma Tabby coveted a large original painting but bought two prints. Thea was kind enough to give us the scoop on Taos and where we should go. She did not disappoint!

We wandered down Ledoux Street and found the Inger Jirby Gallery where everything was full of color! After lunch, we hit a few more galleries. My favorites were Copper Moon Gallery and Lenny Foster's Photography - such soul in his photos! He even gave my mom a notecard with her favorite image.

We came home to a house with no air conditioning. It's a good thing that some people work on Sundays. Otherwise, we'd be moving back into the trailer!

  1. Hollyhocks are a favorite of mine, so I love the photo above. The Hollyhock credenza at the furniture store would like nice in my house. Lenny Foster's photos are amazing.
Sorry about the no AC, coming home to surprises like that aren't fun. Again, thanks for sharing photos.
