We have started our family vacation. We are heading east on IH10 on our way to Savannah. We have the RV hitched up and the dogs along for the ride. This is our first extended vacation in the RV. In the last six years it has served more as a second home than a recreational vehicle so this is exciting for us. The dogs are just happy that they weren't left at home.
Our first stop is New Orleans. After a VERY long day (12 hours) driving, we are settled in and are planning on exploring the French Quarter today. Hubby and C have never been to New Orleans. C likes that it is so green here - much different from the extreme drought of Texas.
