Happy Birthday!

One year ago, Mr. Tabby and C went to Grandma's for their annual Easter visit. While there, they found five kittens under her house born to a stray. Two found homes with C and one found a home with the receptionist at the vet. These two stayed with us.

They were infested with ringworm - which made all of us get ringworm. We bathed them and wrapped them up like burritos to keep them warm. We gave them pills and put creams on their lesions. Today, they are happy, healthy and loving kitties. They were the lucky ones. Most wild kittens don't get a home with people who will take care of them.

Please spay and neuter your pets. And, encourage others to do the same. The San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition has a mission to have a community where no kittens are born wild on the streets. Very few wild kittens get the chance that these five received.

  1. Lucky babies. My once feral TC, had ringworm when I took him on, and it was so awful, took a long time with horrid meds to cure him. You wouldn't know it now he has a beautiful coat and lots of love, just like the two you kept.
